i was hoping to build as docker image on a Mac - will that work?

We're supporting Windows, Mac, and Linux, but have avoided having a Docker dependency as it's targeting end-users who likely don't have it installed nor the skills to run it. That said, there's a devops effort relating to the upcoming beta which will add container support for production deployment.
