Please make sure you're viewing the correct page, you just import the blog's giscus, it won't affect on docs layout. you need to import docs's giscus module as well for docs layout.

The docs site and my blog use Giscus for a long time, there isn't an issue, please double check your configuraiton.

BTW, please find modules on hbstack.dev first, there are modules ported from hugomods for HB themes, which does not require complex setup.
