Planning Data is a platform operated by the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government which makes planning and housing data easier to find, understand, use and trust.

It forms the foundations of the Digital Planning Programme collecting data needed for national infrastructure planning, local and strategic plan-making. Lack of reliable, sustained data is a significant barrier to improving development management and other systems used by planning authorities, and innovative new services from the emerging PropTech marketplace which transforms everyone's experience of planning.
