Introducing a new scalable activity log service

We’ve introduced a new activity service that provides a scalable foundation for collecting, storing, and querying multi-tenant audit log data. This service is designed to collect audit logs emitted from Kubernetes apiservers and make them queryable via a Kubernetes-native API experience.

Note

While the underlying foundation and APIs are in place for this service, we're still working on updating our cloud and staff portals to use the new APIs to retrieve audit logs.

Highlights

• Multi-tenant platform built on Vector, NATS, and Clickhouse for scalability
• Kubernetes-native API for querying audit logs w/ CEL based filtering and relative-time ranges
• Drops into any Kubernetes environment seamlessly

We plan to expand this service in the near future to support translating audit logs into human readable activity logs.
