Release/Development Updates

• 3.2.6 Release:

  • Ready for packaging; announcement to happen shortly (perhaps as soon as by Monday).
  • Raspberry Pi packages being built; FreeBSD builds required code tweaks, but issues now resolved.

• OTP Version Support:

  • Support for OTP 22 will be dropped in 3.2.6; OTP 24 will be the minimum supported version.

• Project Board:

  • Outstanding items:
    • Enhanced query docs
    • TicTac CLI updates
      • Needs a final review, possibly a joint call with Adrian and Andriy.

• Pull Requests:
  “Pool Boy” PR needs further review.
  Adrian to be asked if he can review; if not, Martin will step in.

• Strategy for domain-based filtering and logging is forming,
  

• Do we use domain-based filtering & logging
  • holdup is deciding and documenting the strategy we would like to take
    • We should be filtering on top level. TopLevelDomain whould be App name
  • Second Level would Metric/Audit - contact Ted with ideas, he will be working on it.
  • Discussion around restructuring log domains to allow better filtering and separation (console, metrics, audit, etc.).

• Not continuing to support dtrace -
  • its purpose was firegraphs
  • refactoring needed as carrying tracing
  • in the future using persistent term (rather than mochi global) a better strategy
