What should be our first collaborative project?

Since NextStep JS is all about building modern web projects, I thought it’d be great to start by choosing our first collaborative project together.

I think our first collaborative project should be something practical but not too complex so everyone can contribute meaningfully and get comfortable with the workflow. A few ideas:

Community Website / Portfolio Hub 🌐

• A site where members can showcase their profiles, GitHub projects, and blogs.
• Helps us practice modern frontend (Next.js), APIs, and deployment.

**Open API Explorer **

• A small web app where we integrate a few free/public APIs .
• Great for learning API handling, UI design, and state management.

**Task Manager / Habit Tracker **

• A simple but useful full-stack project (with authentication, CRUD features, and database).
• Teaches collaboration on both frontend and backend.

Whichever we pick, the key is to keep it small enough to finish quickly but scalable enough so we can keep improving and adding features.
