The admin panel's input takes a file path that's within the Docker container. You'll need to share the network share from the VM to the container using a mount. For example, if you can access your network share on your VM at |

perfect, thank you for explaining that to me. I ended up creating a volume for the container in compose, then also using compose to mount it in the container. thanks for your help. also, loving Drop so far. I self host jellyfin(windows server host) amongst other thigns for the kids (4 kids). all are PC games, drop will be so damn useful. |

Forgive me if im being dumb, im very new to containers/docker. dipping my toes as it were.
My day job is a network engineer/IT engineer. This is part of my homelab setup. I Love to selfhost, so naturally this intrigues me.
How would one connect a network folder as a library?
I am running docker in an ubuntu VM.
VM itself can access the nx share - mounted etc.
I can connect to the container as expected from a separate network location, and download a game in the default library location.
I added the network library in the yaml, saw what this does so have reversed it back to default (again - VERY new to docker/container usage)
I'm in the admin dashboard inthe "create source" page, and i cant seem to get the path to recognise a network path.
Open to being educated and corrected here.
Screenshot shows admin dashboard access via LAN on the left. have tried numerous different path types to get to that location.
