About vfio-user client in QEMU

I'd like to ask about the vfio-user client in QEMU. I believe that the project is working on the vfio-user-p3.1 branch. if I understand correctly, this is a project that leverages the existing vfio-user mechanism to improve Multi-process QEMU. I'v tried to work the vfio-user cilent with vfio-user server, and it is already work well.

I am considering implementing PCIe endpoint controller device emulation using this mechanism. Please refer to the QEMU ML for more details if necessary.

Could you please tell me the plan for upstreaming this project?
