Getting back to you from Reddit. I created a banner that politely warns Google Chrome users of the dangers of WEI. It can be easily included in any webpage and the user has the option of dismissing it persistently.

I'm happy if you want to use it within your project, or promote it generally. Or even if you have suggestions to improve it. While there isn't much more it needs IMO we could even look into collaboration.

It's a small contribution but hopefully does something to stifle the spread of WEI.
