NBSTemp not recreated if it's missing

I recently restored a site with OpenStore and got it working easiliy, as it should. However, uploading new images turned out to be failing. This was because NBSTemp folder didn't eexist anymore (probably becuase empty folders are not zipped).

Uploading a file should make sure the folder exists.
