Read Thread not working correctly with MySql Backend

To reproduce:

• Use two accounts, create a post with the 1st account and read it from the second account.
• Refresh the page from the second account, the post still shows as unread and the data coming from the api call is also showing the property read as false. Here are the screenshots.
