1. A CRD to define appropriate instance values.
2. A controller to handle creating pods as required.

A clear and concise description of any alternative solutions or features you've considered.

Additional context
Eventually this should be replaced by a single "CompProc" CRD that only takes appropriate scaling factors to allow the system to automatically grow and shrink.
