At the moment we still use the so called decomposedFS by default. That's optimized for fast id based lookups and as such has a complicated folder structure. You can inspect the structure e.g. as follows: tree storage/users/spaces - somewhere down the tree you will see symlinks to the real file names. Anything else is just uuids (and sharded). Here's an example:
