Finer Grain Pairing of Folders During Synchronization

Are there any plans to have finer control of folder synchronization? Other sync software allows for direct mapping of folders. Please reference this diagram for an example:

In the example, the device folders are not subfolders in Documents (as is the current nature of sync).

OpenCloud is fantastic as a cloud server. This is the only major feature that I've found missing. The only current solutions is to incorporate syncthing.
