Maybe this feature is already planned..
Copy an Opencloud document to a SMB share (Samba).
Why?
In my case I’m using Paperless Ngx as document management system.(DMS)
Aside Paperless I think to use Opencloud as companion file sharing in my organization.
Often an important document (I.e. final version) present in Opencloud should by copied in the DMS for compliance.
Usually DMSs offer a “Consume” directory where to drop files to be acquired, that directory is shareable using Samba (for example). DMS will delete the file once "consumed".
Advantages
Easily could be possible to build a bridge from Opencloud to any other application
Possible implementation:
For security reasons Opencloud Admin manages a list of trusted SMB servers locations/path allowing specific Opencloud authorized users to quickly pickup one of theese SMB entries to copy the currently displayed Opencloud document. Each action (who/when/where/why/what) could be recorded for tracking.
