openambit2tcx Python script

I am writing a Python script to convert openambit's "proprietary" logfiles to the more common TCX format.
The script does not recognize laps and I have yet to test how it behaves when heart rate data are present, everything else works fine.
Am I wasting my time? Is there any other method to convert openambit logfiles?
If you guys are interested I can share the script so it can be added to this repo.

There is a tools/openambit2gpx.py already. You may be able to use its output and stuff that into something like GPSBabel.

That said, I guess yet another conversion will find a welcome home in the tools/ directory.

I used openambit2gpx.py as starting point but since GPX syntax differs quite a lot from TCX I am finding myself rewriting most of the stuff.
