tracking location/jurisdiction of organizations, ethics approvals etc #508

Description

extracted from openMetadataInitiative/openMINDS_core#513

Here what was originally suggested as potential new Location schema::

administrativeDivision (0-1)
city (1)
country (1)
geoCoordinates (0-1) embedded type: GeoCoordinates
postalAddress (0-1) embedded type: POBox | StreetAddress
postalCode (1)

However let's look at the use cases for what this might be useful to narrow it down to the essentials:

  1. getting the country of formation/legal jurisdiction of an organization defined to allow for respective filtering for contributions (becomes more and more relevant) [countries only]
  2. getting the location of the headquarters of an organization [address and/or geo coordinates besides country] to allow for visualization of organizations location
  3. getting the jurisdiction for the ethics assessment (renamed to ethics jurisdiction maybe) [country or supranational body] to identify after which law things were ethically evaluated

I think we do not need to consider addresses for persons (for GDPR reasons we are not going to tackle that).

Suggested simplification of Location schema (TBD):

address (0-1) (string; suggested format: "[Recipient], [Street address], [City], [Region/State; optional], [Postal code], [Country]")
country (1)
geoCoordinates (0-1) embedded type: GeoCoordinates

Updated Organization properties:

countryOfFormation|jurisdiction (1) linked type: Country
headquarterLocation (or just location) (0-1) embedded type Location
acronym (0-1) string
alternateName (0-N) string
digitalIdentifier (0-N) linked type: (RORID|ISNI|LEI)
name (1) string (english? or just latin alphabet with original name?)
hasParent (0-N) linked type: Organization
homepage (0-1) string (iri)
memberOf (0-N) embedded type: Membership ? (TBD: I think this relationship should be turned around)
type (1) linked type: EntityLegalForm (or LegalEntityType) -> (new controlled terms)

@openMetadataInitiative/openminds-developers let's discuss to find the right approach to implement
