Failed to run metapublish example

I am unable to run the metapublish example. Using GST_DEBUG=1, this is the error log shown.
I have verified that the MQTT broker is working correctly.

The error code "-3" seems a MQTTASYNC_DISCONNECTED, The client is disconnected.

And finally gstreamer failed to connect to MQTT broker with Failed to connect to MQTT after maximum configured attempts..

Are you sure the broker is still running (or while start-up the broker had time to initialize and is ready to accept connect-requests)?
Are you sure the local address and port number is correct?
Are you sure the topic name (channel) is correct?

What about access rights? Does the caller of the script ./metapublish.sh has the correct access rights to connect to and send messages with the MQTT broker on that terminal?

I have ensure that the mqtt broker is setup and started correctly. I have verified using a mosquito client to publish the message and subscribe the topic. However, I am not able to do the publishing on the gstreamer pipeline.

Can you try to enable verbose log messages of the MQTT broker, to see if it receives connection requests?

Can you double-check the local address and port number, please?
Can you double-check the access rights, please?

Have you configured the MQTT broker to allow anonymous connections (no username, no password), like shown here: "https://docs.litmus.io/litmusedge/how-to-guides/integration-guides/install-mosquitto-mqtt-broker-ubuntu#T1Yik" ?

Please double-check if the firewall allows the port 1883, like mentioned under the same link.
