As a project serving the special education field, we additionally require:
- Person-First Language: Use "child with autism" rather than "autistic child", respecting the dignity of individuals served
- Data Protection: Sharing identifiable clinical data in any public channel is prohibited, including but not limited to combinations of names, institution names, and specific behavior descriptions
- Professional Ethics: Follow BACB ethical guidelines regarding data protection and client rights
- Respect for Families: Avoid value judgments about family parenting approaches in discussions
Instances of Code of Conduct violations may be reported to [contact to be configured]. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated, and will result in a response deemed necessary and appropriate.
