Hi all,
Hope it's the correct place to post that. Philippe Roudot talked to me about the work from the visus group:
They work solely on the visualization side of things but have an interesting (see their publication) perspective (pun intended) on multi-resolution storage, and their own file format.
They don't seem to be aware of zarr (from a search on their github).
