Description
The better-auth and better-auth-ui packages have had significant updates with new syntax and usage patterns. This issue tracks upgrading to the latest versions and updating our implementation accordingly.

- Upgrade
better-authto latest version - Upgrade
better-auth-uito latest version - Review and update authentication configuration (
lib/auth.ts) - Review and update auth client (
lib/auth-client.ts) - Update any auth-related API routes
- Update UI components using better-auth-ui
- Test authentication flows (sign in, sign up, sign out, session handling)
- Update any deprecated API usage
