script works without errors but no viewers

Script is sending HEAD requests,
thats all what happen. Still after 10 minutes no raising viewercount.
Is there something else to setup?

How did you make it work?

Mine stays in

An error has occurred while trying to get the stream data. Is the channel online? Is the channel name correct? "

had issues with the code. livestreamer --json (-j) doesn't return any value.
i use ubuntu, streamlink and mixer: https://pastebin.com/66D8b5vK
command i use: pthon twitch-viewer.py channelname

but that doesn't matter.
i believe that there is still something to be set on the client that nobody tells you. no matter which python code you find on the internet. I've gone through every documentary on the used modules. or something in the code is left out to despair.
