Hi!
I had an issue when using the software as I was always getting the error:
[error] Mouse: not useable (blocked)

I was using Java8 (recommended by Sikulix) and I thought it was a permission issue. After many unsuccessful attempts I decided to try Java25 and it worked.

I am on Windows 11 latest version and using 2.0.5 Sikulix.

This issue is not an issue but I would like to make my "fix" available.

*The interface looks better with Java25 (in my opinion)

What's happening

The [error] Mouse: not useable (blocked) issue on Windows 11 + Java 8 is a known compatibility problem. Java 8 ships with an older version of the native access libraries that don't fully support Windows 11's security model.

Recommendation

You don't need to go all the way to Java 25. Java 17 (LTS) is the recommended version for SikuliX 2.0.5 on Windows 11.

Download: Eclipse Temurin JDK 17

Java 25 works too, but it's an early-access non-LTS release — not ideal for production use.
