Donation confirmation from Stripe before showing "thanks" page

We should give feedback that the payment was successful on the website. 

If the payment fails we should say it failed, and also show why it failed if possible.- cc declined, could not connect etc.

Currently it goes to the "thanks" page once the cc dialog disappears, whether the user closes it, the payment fails or the user is offline.
