I believe the Page Settings height may computed based on the nested objects being collapsed. But, since these fields are open by default, it creates an inner scrollable area. |

Maybe I have a unique scenario. I have a number of frontmatter fields that far exceed a typical project. In Studio, the frontmatter area (Page Settings) has a height cap of ~270px. While it's great the height can be re-adjusted, having an inner scrolling element can be disorienting especially when there may be nested frontmatter object fields.
My preference would be to treat the Page Settings just like any other MDC element. To my knowledge these don't have height limits.
