Dropping PHP 7.4

Open discussion/question: How many of you are still using PHP7.4 in codebases that use this package?

We are wondering how relevant PHP 7.4 support still is... We don't need to be hyper aggressive in the PHP version requirement but it could be nice to drop PHP7.4 support so we can start using features like Named arguments, Constructor property promotion and Union types...

I'm actually using this package because of the support for PHP7.4 (which broke after the upgrade to v2.0.0-beta14)

Hmm, that should not be the case, 2.0 should remain compatible. I'll check.

I got errors on the union types:

We're not using PHP 7.4, so fine by us :)

Not using PHP 7.4 and having some of the mentioned features would be nice.

Not using it. Furthermore 7.4 no longer supported since 2023, no more security update.
