Keyboard lights turn on despite disabled and app freezes when I try removing multiple percentage entries under the keyboard tab

I don't want my keyboard to light up. I'm trying to keep light to a minimum in the night to not wake up my fish.

So the checkmark in the keyboard tab is off. But the keyboard still lights up. If I turn it off manually, it turns on again next time the daemon activates.

So I tried removing all the percentage entries besides 0%, but once I've removed a few, the app suddenly freezes. Reproducible always.
