Is the Storytel reader / Mofibo reader officially bricked? #14

I got this from Storytel in January:
Basically, if one didn't update the device before Feb 22 it would not be usable after that date. As I did update before this date my gen 1 is working fine and I haven't seen any issues resembling yours. You might want to check out the discussion in issue #17 where @AndersSpringborg is trying to fix his gen 1 device which stopped working after Feb 22. |

I have a Mofibo reader 1st gen, which I can't get to start. I can make the Wi-Fi connect but afterwards I get an error: "Something went wrong". I can read on a forum, that they bricked it... but that is also the only source I can find anywhere. Even on Storytel / Mofibo's own website, it states that everything works perfectly.
Does anybody have more information or a reference to a source about the situation?
