Recording doesn't seem to capture any steps

I've just discovered this little gem of a project and managed to build and run the example tests after a couple of quick edits (new GPG key for RVM & needed to rename quickapp-huge target because I think it was using cached QML from quickapp or something...)

Now I want to dive into creating new tests, and thought recording would be a perfect way. Unfortunately, it comes up blank. The visualizer recognizes the app, of course, and I can click it through the little sidebar view, and inspect it in the object tree, but no matter what I do, nothing ever shows up in the recording result between the comments. The test button afterward says "ok", but I assume that's just because there's nothing to run...

Hi, Nice to hear that you found our project useful. Sadly recording script from Vizualizer is not currently possible with qml applications. It only works with Qt Widget based applications. I can understand that it is easier to get started with recorder, but sadly with qml you need to write the test code from scratch, you can still use visualizer to browse items in object tree to help finding correct object to interact with from your script. Also if you like to try recorder with Qt Widget application, it actually records the application interactions, so start recorder then interact your application in normal way not trough visualizer.
