There is no end-to-end example how-to use ntt for newcomers, with example of TTCN-3 spec and all steps required for running test.

Yes. Unfortunately that's true. But I am currently working on it.

However writing the initial documentation is quite tricky, because an end-to-end example of ntt depends on Nokia internal closed source components (compiler, runtime, adapters).

I am not sure what open source substitute to choose. Should I use Titan or should I develop my own compiler/runtime? I am strongly leaning towards a new implementation.
