Integrate TMDb for Faster and More Accurate Data

Currently, data is fetched from Letterboxd, which in turn retrieves information from TMDb. By integrating the TMDb API directly, we can achieve faster and more accurate results.

In what instances can you imagine going to tmdb? I'm not sure where you could do this and get a complete Movie entry. Or are you refering to people entries/etc?

Ideally lists and other references would provide the tmdb-id, but the only way to get to it is to visit the page, no?

This is a draft idea for now, no concrete plan yet. But the basic idea is: since Letterboxd already fetches data from TMDb, we could get faster and more accurate results by using the TMDb API directly.

I just wrote a script to generate tmdb Datta from letterboxd export files. The tmdb API is great, but as far as speed is concerned in order to establish a link between a tmdb object and a letterboxd object you have to go to the letterboxd page (to extract the tmdb url). This means you'd essentially be double tapping tmdb, anyways, no?
