clang and openmp installations fail

conda install clang and conda install openmp both return an error of:

PackagesNotFoundError: The following packages are not available from current channels

on Windows 7 using Anaconda2 5.3.1 and conda version 4.5.11

Well, windows is an untested platform for us. For the clang package, maybe try https://anaconda.org/statiskit/clang <https://anaconda.org/statiskit/clang> And this should work for openmp: https://anaconda.org/conda-forge/openmp <https://anaconda.org/conda-forge/openmp> BTW, did you try compiling first before installing the packages?
