Whiteboard feature brainstorming

Comments:

• tricky to get a shared whiteboard
• how easy is it to find Whiteboard? no app icon is unusual and makes it rare to use the app
• starting on a piece of paper instead of a whiteboard
• in Talk not overly visible (WIP for Talk rooms)

Feature ideas:

• Additional templates for most common use cases in addition to SWOT & Impact analysis (thinking mind maps, org charts, flow charts, GANTT charts, messaging houses and other use cases that are popular, esp in sales)
• bigger option bar
• more formatting options
• more pre-populated libraries (emojis, more text options, background colors, bullet points (business users really like bullet points).
• LINES (just like ARROWS) that snap to the shapes and move / extend with moving the shapes
• export, download or print options:
  • Should be jpg/png, keynote/ppt and PDF
  • actually exist but not under “download” but on right side (export entire whiteboard or current screen)
• import or create a spreadsheet in Whiteboard (or different parts of spreadsheets)
• calculation in Whiteboard
• app that allows seeing all whiteboards

App Integations:

Assistand / AI integration:

• get it to work
• to have starting point (already available but not as visible?)

Talk:

• interactive whiteboard in Talk (split screen also for Talk desktop client)
• force opening shared whiteboard / opening for all users by default (instead of manual clicks for individual users)
• additional meeting controls on top to share screen etc (in order not to close Whiteboard)
• media integration in Whiteboard to share video with all participants without comprimising own bandwidth
• more present visual indicator for whiteboard
• sharing options (eg view only or definable frames (see “download/sharing opitions)

Office:

• will get app button with starting page including recent documents

Collectives:

• not possible for Whiteboard

Teams:

• include button for Whiteboard

Groupware:

• see sharing/download options
• connect resources/meetings with Whiteboard
• calendar integration (just like adding a Talk room, possible to add Whiteboard)
