No notification in the widget window

After installed and configure the widget in NC v. 21.0.0, I'm no able to read any notification in the widget dashboard window.
As I read some post or topic titles into the results list of the search field I figured I correctly configured the widget.
What do you think about? Can you help me?

Same here, first it connects but then when opening the Dashboard ist says "Connection failed"

We use SSO so that each nc user can log in to discourse. That works.
We are behind a NGINX reverse proxy.
