ci-eye when run under Safari 8 stops auto refreshing after a period

Open Safari, navigate to cieye, open the Developer->Timelines screen, observe that Javascript events continue for approx 1.5 minutes then stop.  Observation is that further changes to builds are not visible in the UI and require a manual refresh.

There's no errors within the console.
