@netblock Hi buddy. Why would my Lenovo Ideapad 110-15ACL AMD Radeon R5 M430 report PCIe 2.0 x4 when Techpowerup says : Bus Interface Thanks I found PCIEGen in /vbios_rom_header/atom_rom_header_v1_1/atom_master_data_table_v1_1/atom_pplib_powerplaytable_v5/atom_pplib_si_clock_info_array/clockInfo [00]/ & I set it to 3 from 2, but how to define the PCIe Link Width of x8 vs the current, x4? Update Lenovo Ideapad 110-15ACL with AMD A8-7410 apparently has only PCIe 2 x4. |

Hello @netblock sup bro? how ya doing? I found out that on v0.6.0, the save button doesn't work and only save as works. Also how do I setup a custom thermal policy? It doesn't show anything & I cannot limit the temperatures of the core & vrm of my r9 290. It throttles at 95*C, I believe. I need to reduce that so the core & vrm doesn't overheat. TjMax doesn't do anything & nonclockinfo setting thermal to 1 and forced to 1 & max temperature 84 does nothing except screw up the PCIe from 3.0 to 1.1 |

@netblock thanks but when I click save it saves, but when I re-open the file, the changes I made didn't reflect in the file in yaabe. Also I cannot figure out why now with combination of using hawaii bios reader and yaabe it gimps the PCIe x16 from 3.0 to 1.1 under load. I think it's hawaii bios reader, but testing is on going. Also I tested yaabe alone, didn't touch hawaii bios reader and so far so good but it hasn't gimped the PCIe x16 slot to 1.1 yet, it's at 3.0 currently. So far setting 0 high low leakage & setting 0 offset VDDC results in PCIe 3.0 but so far I just set the thermal policy which works by the way, just need to define a custom dpm / voltage states so it can go to a lower voltage when approaching the TjMax. Testing is on going but I have now set the thermal policy and the gpu core clock is sitting at 300mhz at idle voltage dpm 0 at full speed 3d mode for some reason... UPDATE Save function works. Driver may of became corrupted after applying thermal policy. Gonna configure bios fresh, flash, then install GCN R.ID 23.11.1 & test. |

@netblock The hex offset location and data is incorrect here on the newly compiled version... 516A is 0C 5C 01, but your app says 5C 01 90... |

@netblock Thanks so much for being so nice & committed to helping me out. That fills my heart with warmth & joy! It would be insane if you made a UEFI BIOS editor that can easily change the cTDP bro... Maybe in my next life. I hope you're aligned unto the light so as to easily enter unto all eternity & help me out with modding for all eternity bro! I plan on buying a Powercolor Red Devil AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT Which I have been looking at the BIOS, I'm looking to changing all the temperature limits in YAABE. Where may they be? I found some but not all. Thermal Limit I found them in the powerplaytable in HxD in the hex code, just not everything in YAABE... UPDATE - Found them in : |

@netblock May you advise on how to flash the NAVI RDNA 1 GPU, for instance my 5600 XT? I keep getting Error 0FL01 BIOS signature issue... Thanks |

@netblock Hi. I couldn't flash the OC left switch, it's signature protected? However the right switch allows for flashing. I changed only the powerplay shutdown temperature 88C & all infrastructure temperature limits to 84C. After flashing only those settings, in AMD Radeon Settings Performance Tuning is the FAN SECTION missing all together, Why? |

@netblock Hi I am trying to get the SoC & UVD frequencies above 1267Mhz for faster encoding but it will not go above 1267Mhz for SoC or UVD, why? Thanks I got the Soc & UVD to 1267mhz stock max but I want it to remain the same continuous for SoC & UVD... How do I get it to go beyond 1267mhz? Plus the power consumption for some reason isn't accurate it says it's using 100W when it's clearly probably using more because I have it at 1200mv @ 2020Mhz which is supposed to yield over 2000mhz core & effective, but it's only like 1968mhz instead, changing power doesn't do anything & reducing voltage doesn't do anything either.

Comparing loadline_psi1 0x0 0 offset 0 slope to loadline_psi1 0x1C which is 0 offset, 7 slope. Where 0x0 is unstable, 0x1C is stable. |

Can someone study this vbios? Please because its of the same flavor of vbios, very rare find, that can achieve the 675mv dpm0 & 850mv dpm1,2,3 on the MVDDC (memory). I cannot figure out why the uclk remains at 202mhz ie idle dpm0 frequency, i know its probably soc related avfs in nature but my brain is overloaded, atm to figure it out. Thanks Experimental vbios, uclk (memory) is gimped to dpm0 freq under load, core goes to 2.295GHZ but memory remains idle. Update |

I achieved near peak performance on stock memory speeds, I have the coregfxmax telemetry current set to 255 (stock powercolor red dragon 5600 xt) & the SOC & MEM0 & MEM1 set to value of 1... Pssst it's a secret cheat yall, free fps. |

Finally achieved greater than my previous best with the RTSS OSD on with HWINFO & Everything running in the background normally I close everything & even close out the Explorer for peak performance, but I beat it without having to do that. This is all the while running below 84*C Hotspot. |

How do I fix the frequency voltage curve on 5600M? I know it can do 1070mhz which is operational 1050mhz at 650mv but in game its running 740mv 800mhz core. I just want to fine tune the curve frequency / voltage, how to? How do I tell it to run a certain frequency voltage while throttling on the temp sensors? Thanks |

I can maintain stability at 1960 MHz memory. At 2000 MHz, I can't maintain stability; bit errors occur. Sometimes games crash (black screen, etc.). In this situation, even if I try 2002 MHz, since the timings will loosen, could I get rid of the bit errors and crashes I experience after 1960 MHz? I adjust the voltages so precisely that I don't allow any noise. Does anyone have any ideas on this? @netblock @Outhawk @chris1892006 @sigavey |

@netblock Hi bruh, how you been doing? Hey I got a question. How do I define the slave address i2c for VDDCI & MVDDC in the 5600M bios? I"d love to know the VRM temperature. It's 224 on 5600 xt right? How about 5700 XT? Update - I checked if you change the VDDCI VR & MVDDC VR slave address from 228 to 224, you can monitor the VDDCI & MVDDC VRM temperature in HWINFO. Is it IR35217? This is on the DELL G5 SE 5505 laptop. Is there a schematic for my motherboard? Which chip is your guess on the VGA BIOS Chip? I need to CH341A my laptop to fix the flash ability of the chip. |

A continuation of the thread in here.
@chris1892006 I do eventually want to do a UEFI and AGESA editor, but my plate's full with YAABE. Maybe in a couple years. (Though not quite what you were talking about, I do plan for further GPU-side UEFI exposure and other features such as GOP embedding; maybe 0.8.0?)
If you're asking for TDP options on the Radeon 530, there seem to be some things to try
/vbios_rom_header/atom_rom_header_v1_1/atom_master_data_table_v1_1/atom_pplib_powerplaytable_v5/atom_pplib_extended_header_v9/atom_pplib_powertune_table_v1/TDPFor your APUs, a4-6210, a8-7410, and a12-9720p, there are APU-related tables such as
integrated_system_info, but I don't have any APU bioses so I'd be going in blind. There is still stuff left to do for 0.7.0 (such as the groundwork for a basic menu ribbon and savable settings), but I don't expect them to be amazingly complex, so it may come in two weeks.
