Dashboard gets stuck on loading screen after clicking drop-down menu

Describe the problem

Webpage hangs at loading screen, if I click drop-down menu on the left side.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to home page
2. Click on any item with a downward arrow icon
   
3. Loading screen show and hangs up
   

Expected behavior

Menu item expands and no loading screen shows up.

Are you using NetBird Cloud?

I am using the official container for self-hosting.

NetBird version

• netbird: v0.60.2
• netbird-dashboard: v2.22.1 (but bug has appeared at least from v2.21)

NetBird status -d output:

Netbird management and client works fine, its a frontend problem.

Additional context

After I click, the menu expands. The only problem is that the loading screen unexpectedly appears.

Hey @LTSlw,

Could you please open your browser console and check if there are any errors in the console and network tab?
It would be great if you could record a HAR file of the network requests and also save the console logs separately.

Could you also try clearing your browser cache and see if this fixes your issue?

There were no errors; all HTTP requests returned either 200 or 204. I enabled disable cache at the Network tab.

Strange, there should be some kind of error. Did you try refreshing the page after opening the console?

• Did you try clearing the browser cache?
• Does ingocnito work?
• Can you try with another browser like Chrome?
• Could you try disabling any extensions and try again?

Also a HAR file would be helpful

Sorry for late reply.

I finally found the cause of the problem. For example, the dashboard is hosted at https://dashboard.example.com/.

If the address in the browser's address bar is https://dashboard.example.com/ (this will happen if you just logged in), then clicking the collapsed menu on the left will freeze on the loading screen.

If the browser's address bar has a different valid address, such as https://dashboard.example.com/peers, then there is no problem.
