Is there any explanation or endorsed alternatives to deprecated features?

I was perusing the llfio docs and noticed that dynamic_thread_pool_group is marked "This is deprecated and scheduled for removal in 2025." as are a few other features. Is there any place one can read about why these are deprecated and what one could use as an alternative?

Most of the deprecated features were never much used by anybody, and supporting that code when nobody uses it makes little sense.

I currently expect in 2026 the whole of LLFIO will get archived as I have left WG21 and I am winding down my C++ participation in general, so I'll be doing a prune of the open source C++ libraries that I support.
