https://github.com/ncbo/ontologies_linked_data/pull/144 introduced support for gzipped file submissions; however it is not fully working yet. https://github.com/ncbo/ontologies_linked_data/pull/172 addresses one of the issues where ontology gzipped file can be uploaded but it fails to parse.
