Issue with LTP_2Nodes_Test Example Test

I've watched the HDTN Communty Day videos and I got the first demo HDTN/runscript.sh running fine. I am attempting the 2-Node example in Ubuntu 20.04 docker containers on the same host. When I start the first task, the receiver, it fails:

Any ideas? I've built v1.3.1 with the v2 GUI. When I subsequently try to run the sender container I get:

[ router ][ error]: XPub socket failed to bind: Address already in use

I suspect that ultimately I may have to run the containers on separate machines and use host networking, but the receiver should start up.

Hello, did you have the 2 hdtn nodes on two different containers (using different ip addresse)?

2 different containers using host networking not bridge. Containers also using localhost. Regardless, the error I show is from the receiver prior to launching the sender container.

I am also experiencing the same hurdle even when I run the 2 nodes on 2 different machines

this is perhaps a documentation issue. i found that the 2 nodes have to have particular hostnames for things to work. in the end - using docker - i used the docker_compose container and that startup gets the host names correct. be aware that the oracle container does not build - another change i need to put in. sysctl needs to be systemd since oracle7 so this container must have been unbuildable for some time. you can change the docker_compose file to use the ubuntu container. as it is i've moved on to my own container.
