Hi, I flashed your firmware directly with MOTO.
Yes, the bootloader can still be accessed. I flashed the firmware:

I accidentally tried to change the battery calibration settings from the
secret menu, and since then the radio has died; it no longer works.

Per sbaglio ho provato a cambiare impostazioni di calibrazione della
batteria dal menu' segreto e da quel momento la radio è morta, non funziona
piu'.

Look, I made a mistake by changing the battery type and battery calibration from the secret menu, and I shouldn't have done that, but now my radio doesn't work... Can you release another test firmware just for me to see if changing any settings can get it to restart??? Because the firmware theoretically loads it, but then it freezes with dots on the screen or it always says RESET ALL KEYS and nothing works. Thanks. |

I explained it to you.... I went to the secret menu (RELEASE ALL KEYS) and
went to the n71 and n72 menu and changed the battery settings. After that
the radio stopped working.... So now I can't do anything, not even with the
original firmware the radio works. This is the error. I don't know what to
do... Help thanks.

Try replacing the 12 bytes at address 0x10000 in the SPI flash to see if it gets the firmware running. These bytes were extracted from one of my devices. The steps are:
I'm unsure how familiar you are with the UF2 format. If needed, you can refer to the Ichi project wiki. |

Alternatively, a quicker verification method: After installing Ichi, first back up the entire SPI flash. Then replace the SPI flash contents on your device with those from my device. If this allows your firmware to run, proceed with the method above to replace the 12 bytes (after restoring with your own back up data). |

Unfortunately it still doesn't work... it loads the firmware and then a
white screen appears with the words: "RELEASE ALL KEYS" and it remains
stuck and I can't do anything.

Hmm if you've overwritten the SPI flash with the data I provided and it still won't boot, then it is beyond my comprehension what the cause could be. Theoretically, if the data is corrupted, restoring it from another device should at least allow normal startup. (However, incorrect calibration data may cause communication frequency differences and other issues.) Therefore, I'm unable to assist you further. |

I uploaded the SPI to the radio, but it stops at 70% and then doesn't move
forward. I also don't have the calibration.bin file. Could you send it to
me? Do you have it?

Then you'll have to manage to make it work by yourself. I'm sure Ichi works with Windows. The end result would be a "ICHI" drive appearing on your computer. |

No, no special driver needed on the Computer. It works out of box. Let me confirm with you: Is your current bootloader Moto? If you enter Bootloader mode (press and hold PTT while powering on), does a "MOTO" disk appear on your computer? |

Anyway, you have to get Ichi working. Ichi is currently the only known tool that allows you to write SPI flash content. |

Negative, no MOTO writing appears on the computer or on the radio. The radio is locked with ICHI and won't let me do anything, or if I reinstall your firmware, I get black dots on the screen and I can't do anything. Or if I reinstall the original firmware, it works, but it won't let me go to TX because it says HIGH VOLTAGE and always shows 0.27V, but the battery is new and the correct voltage is 7.4V measured with a voltmeter. So it's a software problem that reads the value of the decalibrated battery and won't let me work with your firmware or the original one. |

Like i have already said, you'll have to make Ichi work so you can repair the spi flash (the calibration data). Other than that, there is nothing I can do.

Yes, because I need to be able to insert a custom CTCSS tone into the
transmitter, such as 181.4 Hz or similar, but I can't add it manually, so
if possible, I'll add the custom CTCSS tone in the next version.

Because where I live there's a lot of interference, and whatever CTS tone I
use, there are people there, so with the costume tone people can't get in.
If you can add the costume tone in the next release I'd be grateful because
it's very important not only for me, but also for other users I imagine.

Hello, I understand your intention, but a “custom tone” won’t block anyone. CTCSS was never designed to filter out other users or remove interference. It only hides the audio when the tone doesn’t match. The signals, interference and users are still there, still occupying the channel, and they can still disrupt communication. Using a non-standard tone will only break compatibility with other radios and create more issues than it solves. That’s why a proper firmware sticks to the standard tones. The reality is painfully simple: an out-of-spec CTCSS doesn’t protect anything, it just breaks interoperability and creates those absurd situations where nobody can talk to each other anymore. In short, it’s usually a lack of understanding, sometimes a bit of folklore, and rarely a brilliant idea. My 2 cents... Armel, F4HWN |

Yes, but it's strange because with the original Quansheng radio antenna it
receives 70MHz while the 70MHz one doesn't. But with the K5, on the other
hand, it receives perfectly with the Wouxun 66-88MHz antenna. Try changing
the gain threshold for 70MHz if you can. I'll let you know later, thanks.

Salve, MUZKR ho provato a fleshare il tuo firmware sulla radio quansheng uvk1, e all'inizio funzionava, ma poi sono andato a cambiare le impostazioni della calibrazione della batteria e di colpo la radio si è spenta e adesso non riparte e non funziona neanche piu' con il firmware originale.
