This Privacy Policy describes how Headunit Revived ("we", "our", or "us") handles your data when you use our Android application.
- Data Collection and Usage
Headunit Revived does NOT collect, store, or share any personal user data.
The application functions solely as a display and input receiver for your Android phone via the Android Auto protocol. All data displayed (maps, music, contacts) remains on your connected phone and is processed by the Android Auto app installed on that phone, subject to Google's own privacy policies.
- Permissions
The app requests specific permissions solely for its core functionality:
- Microphone: Used exclusively to pass your voice commands directly to the connected phone for Android Auto voice control. No audio is recorded or stored by Headunit Revived.
- Location: Used to provide the car's GPS speed and location data to the Android Auto navigation app for better accuracy. This data is not stored or tracked by us.
- USB / Bluetooth / WiFi: Used solely to establish the technical connection between the tablet/headunit and your phone.
- Third-Party Services
Headunit Revived does not integrate any third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or tracking tools.
