Problem with PF plotting on multiphase alloys

hello everybody,
i have a little problem with my PF plotting .
i am currently using mtex-5.10.2 on MATLAB R2024a

here is my problem
there is a mismatch between the grains i wan't to plot the PF and the one plotted.

here is my code :

[subgrains,ebsd2.grainId] = calcGrains(ebsd2,'angle',LAGB);
  
% i grab id of some particular subgrains 
to_add_g1 = [5682,21981,22536,22282,25960,27921,4288,15140,15572,27242,19976,18189,9279,9517,7550,7069,8039];
subgrains_g1 = subgrains(to_add_g1);
     
o_B_i_RX = ebsd2(subgrains_g1).orientations;

and here comes my problem because :

ebsd2 = EBSDsquare

i have a beta phase transforming in alpha phase and i don't understand what am i doing wrong

I can not spot a mistake in your syntax. This actually should work fine. Maybe you can start a bit simpler to narrow down where the error comes in. E.g.

[subgrains,ebsd2.grainId] = calcGrains(ebsd2,'angle',LAGB);

plot(subgrains(5682).boundary)
hold on
plot(ebsd2(subgrains(5682)))
hold off

to check whether the right grain / EBSD data are selected.

Hi, thank you for your quick response, I think the problem is comming from my ebsd2 dataset. actually if i ask to plot
plot(subgrains(5682).boundary)
hold on
plot(ebsd2(subgrains(5682)))
hold off
an error appears and say
Error using patch
Value must be an Nx1 or Nx3 array of numeric type.

Error in EBSD/plotUnitCells (line 76)
h = optiondraw(patch(obj,'parent',ax),varargin{:});

Error in EBSD/plot (line 115)
h(k) = plotUnitCells(ebsd.subSet(ind), color,...

nevertheless if i segment my EBSd2 in grains 

for i = 1: length(grains_p)

  ebsd2_grain_i = ebsd2(grains_p(i));
              ebsd2_grain_i = ebsd2_grain_i.gridify;
              [grains_i,ebsd2_grain_i.grainId] = calcGrains(ebsd2_grain_i,'angle',HAGB);
              grains_i = smooth(grains_i,5);

          with grains p grains where i went to select them
          prior_grains_B_Id = [2962,....];

              perhaps my problem is comming from the fact that my data is comming from a modified ctf file that i extracted from MTEX using export_ctf

I found the problem,
it was comming from my code,
in a function i called before, i was unisng :

ebsd2 = ebsd2.gridify;
[subgrains,ebsd2.grainId] = calcGrains(ebsd2,'angle',LAGB);
subgrains = smooth(subgrains,5);
[grains,ebsd2.grainId] = calcGrains(ebsd2,'angle',HAGB);
grains = smooth(grains,5);

with grains called after subgrains, when i changed the order of the call, my problem vanished.
