Info on container resources?

Hello,

I'm working on some performance tuning and looking into implementing some concurrency / parallelism. I'm wondering where I can find info about the deployment about resources available. For instance, how many CPUs / Cores dedicated to each app?

Hi Bo,
I dont know all the details, but as of now each App gets 3 GB RAM, which is probably the biggest restriction to most. There has been recent ideas to increase that.
I am not sure, if parallelism is working yet, as we have not yet had time to implement an example. @cleemansen, maybe you have some more helpful info here? An example to test out parallelims would be very helpful for us!
Sorry, all those details are not written up anywhere, so far. It will be something to talk about at the workshop and we will add it to the User Manual at some point.

I also think that the RAM restriction is the only one worth mentioning.

Parallel code execution is not prohibited and is theoretically possible. Each app has 8 CPU cores available. However, we have never tested this in practice. A showcase would be very interesting here (e.g. with corresponding log outputs).

It is also worth mentioning that the apps do not have any persistent memory available (apart from storing the app artifacts). Each app start begins with a fresh file system.
