Mouse does not work and some characters of the keyboard (Italian) do not match, how can I solve?

First of all I wanted to congratulate you for this wonderful project, honestly it works very well and is very useful to me ...
I have the problem that the mouse does not work seems to be disabled, so remotely I can not interact with the mouse, from the client terminal I see that it gives me this error: "translate_mouse_coords: video/win size values cannot be 0".

The only interaction I have from remote is from the keyboard (italian), but some characters don't match, e.g. the @ character (ALTgr+à sequence) is written in the remote pc.

How can I solve ?

I stumbled across a similar issue for what concerns the keyboard. I'm connecting 2 PCs with Ubuntu distros and on both I'm using an italian keyboard layout. I noticed that the character printed on the server side is actually the one from an english keyboard.
In short:

• the client correctly detects the key event and sends its code to the server
• the server issue that key event, but for some reason this is not interpreted by the system using the correct layout
