Coverity flags dead code

sca_notify.c: It appears as if everything after the return in line 79 is stranded code, left over after the changes in Sept of 2012. The dead code seems to do no harm, but Coverity flags it as an error. Suggest that it be removed for the sake of eliminating the warning flag.
