Need release to match current source and docs

The latest release on NPM is 6+ months of commits behind master. Significantly, the latest NPM release doesn't match the docs-- it doesn't include serialize/deserialize methods, for example.

What's the plan for the next release? I don't see any release-blocking open issues so was wondering.

Hi @justingrant, extended json was actually merged into https://github.com/mongodb/js-bson in v4 of that module. I'll update the README here to reflect the change.

OK. I didn't see any updates in the README, so to save you the trouble I created a PR #27 to update it.

I created NODE-1855 to track this process. It's not as simple as updating the readme unfortunately, but we will get to this in the next week. Ideally, we could incorporate your fixes over there into another release and announce them concurrently.
