about the _dist parameters

I tried much on SuMD, and I have not success on it. By the way, I am not sure the meaning about opt_dist, bound_dist and meta_dist, and I do not see references although inputfile_commented.dat tells me '#cdm distance cutoff n°1, see references', so can you give me some advice?
