[Feature request] Pause playing video when opening thumbnails grid (swipe up) in gallery

The reason is that horizontal scrolling of thumbnails in the gallery lags significantly. Disabling blur does not solve the problem. Are there any other ways to solve the lag issue? The app has even crashed a couple of times in this spot... Android 13.

Please note that it lags even on pictures, without video. I have a 120 Hz screen.

Just 1 question are you using the latest app version? what does it show in settings screen?

I also noticed that if you quickly scroll through the gallery while it is loading new thumbnails, the app sometimes crashes. I don't know if you receive logs about this, but the option is enabled in the settings.

I also suggest making the gallery with vertical scrolling as an option. That would be great.
