Description
Hello there strata community,
Thanks for putting this implementation available to everyone.
I would like to know if it is possible to use strata to model the radiation from a single dipole source element embedded within a sequence of layers but in the optics domain.
From the examples I see that all of the frequencies and units are mostly given for rather "large" dimensions. I wonder if I can directly use this implementation for the case of having a single dipole emitter which radiates at 640 nm.
I have tried using strata and compared the results to a pure FDTD implementation of the same system and I cannot see to observe any agreement in the results.
Also, I have tested for the case of just having a homogeneous region of space: a single layer with the upper and lower regions having the same medium.
I would expect that in this case, I should get the homogenous space Green's dyadic terms but what I end up having is not that:
Any thoughts or comments about my use case? Should strata also work for my type of application?
Thanks for the feedback
